N.R. Lyons Carpentry was started in the summer of 2005. Prior to starting this company, I received a Bachelor's degree in graphic design. These courses groomed my creative eye to look at construction in a different way. After I finished school, I worked in wood restoration and commercial remodeling for 3 years. I also apprenticed for 5 years with Custom Carpentry under my uncle, Bill Lyons. My uncle learned under his father at E.E. Lyons Construction in Virginia, making me a third generation carpenter.

With years of personal experience and the wisdom passed down from family members, I have a keen eye for detail, and impeccable material and time management skills. Projects over the years have spanned from commercial, remodels, custom work, basements, and new construction. I have perfected the ability to effectively work in unison with builders, architects, designers, and homeowners to bring the desired finished product.
